1. The service
Advisory.watch is operated by J.Ekedahl, 50 Avenue des Champs Elysées, 75008 Paris, France. It provides read-only Drupal maintenance intelligence, including site-health monitoring, security-advisory matching, lifecycle/readiness information, alerts, and reports.
2. Accounts
You must provide accurate account information, keep credentials secure, and use the service only for sites you own, maintain, administer, or otherwise have permission to monitor. You are responsible for activity performed through your login and for promptly removing access that should no longer exist.
Accounts are intended for professional/business use by people who can enter into a binding agreement. We may suspend access where necessary to protect the service, other users, or monitored systems.
3. Site Guardian access
You authorize Advisory.watch to make read-only requests to the Site Guardian endpoints for sites you configure. The service does not promise to install updates, alter Drupal configuration, deploy code, or remediate findings for you.
You remain responsible for maintaining your Drupal sites, evaluating findings, making backups, testing updates, and deciding what maintenance actions are appropriate.
4. Monitoring is advisory
Monitoring depends on network access, Drupal.org and other external data sources, Site Guardian responses, scheduler operation, and software-version information. Findings, alerts, readiness checks, and reports are intended to assist maintenance decisions; they are not a guarantee that a site is secure, available, compliant, or free from vulnerabilities.
Security advisories can change after publication, and a missed or delayed alert does not transfer responsibility for site security to Advisory.watch.
5. Plans and billing
Free and paid capacities, included features, currency, and current prices are shown on the Pricing page or at checkout. Paid subscriptions are billed according to the interval presented when purchased and may renew automatically until cancelled. Taxes may be added where required.
Capacity reductions and ordinary subscription cancellation normally take effect at the end of the current paid billing period. Permanently deleting an account is different: deletion cancels any linked subscription immediately and forfeits remaining application access for that account. Charges already paid are not automatically refundable except where required by applicable law or expressly agreed.
We may change prices for future billing periods with reasonable notice. A price change does not retroactively alter charges already paid.
6. Acceptable use
You may not use the service to access systems without authorization, probe or attack infrastructure, circumvent service limits, interfere with other users, send abusive traffic, or use Site Guardian keys obtained without permission. Automated use must remain within documented service limits.
7. Your data
You retain responsibility for the site/account information you submit. You grant us the limited right to process that information as needed to operate, secure, support, and improve the service. Personal-data handling is described separately in the Privacy Policy.
8. Availability and changes
We aim to provide a reliable service but do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. Features may be modified, added, or removed as the product develops. During beta periods, behaviour and interfaces may change more frequently.
9. Liability
To the extent permitted by applicable law, the service is provided without guarantees beyond those expressly stated here. We are not responsible for indirect or consequential loss, lost profits, loss caused by third-party services, or damage resulting from maintenance decisions made solely on the basis of monitoring output.
Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited.
10. Ending an account
You may stop using the service at any time. Application-held personal data can be exported and a login/account can be deleted from Settings, subject to shared-account ownership safeguards and any limited retention required for security or law. We may terminate accounts for material abuse or non-payment after any notice required by law.
11. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as the service changes. Material changes will be identified by a new effective date and, where appropriate, communicated before they take effect.
12. Contact
